MohBad died from injuries sustained during fight with PrimeBoy — Police reveals
According to the Lagos State Police, Mohbad’s childhood friend Primeboy was involved in a physical altercation with the artist at his show in Ikorodu, which left him injured and ultimately led to his death.
The police also revealed this information in a press statement announcing the individuals detained in connection with the singer’s death on Friday, October 6, 2023.
Primeboy, one of the suspects, battled with the singer, according to Idowu Owohunwa, the Lagos Police Commissioner.
“At the end of the show, Mohbad and Ibrahim (Primeboy) were engaged in a violent fight during which Mohbad was injured. The management of the injury subsequently resulted in his death, he is being treated as a suspect,” he said.
“PrimeBoy had a fight with Mohbad in Ikorodu which resulted in the injury he sustained and the treatment of the injuries resulted in his d£ath” — Police.
