DJ Kaywise provides an explanation for his cryptic post (Video)
Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, a.k.a. DJ Kaywise, a prominent Nigerian disc jockey, has finally revealed the reason behind a recent cryptic post that alarmed his followers.
On September 13, 2023, the record producer publicly announced on his Instagram profile that he was intending to “end it all.” As supporters crowded the comment section, warning him against suicide, his post caused worry. Others persuaded his family and friends to reach out to him.
DJ Kaywise clarified, however, in a video message released on his Instagram page on Wednesday night that his earlier tweet wasn’t about suicide, as some worried followers had assumed, but rather about the turmoil in his family, which was mostly focused on his “woman”.
He claimed he wanted to clarify the air regarding the false accusations made against him by the blog “Gistlover.”
“I hope this ends it all,” he wrote in the video’s caption.
“The general public misrepresentation of my recent post as a sign of suicidal thoughts highlights the urgency of addressing these issues.”
“It’s crucial for the public to dissociate my name from the misconceptions initially perpetuated by a malicious blog called Gistlover, and I am glad I can rectify the false impressions that have been spreading over the years.”
He continued detailing the conflict among the family before stating that he would remain faithful to his partner.
